ROLAND'S PRODUCTS: KEYNOTE SPEECHES
Releasing Powerful Presenting Skills
Most people get their introduction into the world of corporate presentations according to the "sink or swim" system! Someone else wasn't available, no-one else wanted to do it, or a promotion to a new position brought with it the necessity to present reports/training/feedback to management/employees/clients and so on. Many may have a good idea of how to structure a Powerpoint presentation, put together good content, or may even have attended a Presentation Skills course but when the chips are down, nerves, intimidation, stress (just plain terror!) and a host of other feelings and symptoms challenge our abilities to deliver great presentations.
This workshop brings elements of Psychology, Physiology and Roland's years of experience as a Performer, Comedian, Actor, Trainer and Professional Speaker together to teach people the practical skills necessary to reduce anxiety, increase presence, refine speaking skills and even to learn to actually ENJOY speaking in front of a group of people, no matter what the context!
Delegates learn "tricks of the trade" used by professional performers in all fields from corporate meetings, to entertainment, to theatre, to conference speaking and even opera. This workshop is not just a list of good ideas or Presentation Skills theory - it is an immersive experience that strengthens presenters psychologically, emotionally, physiologically and vocally in order to empower them to bring out the brilliance of their Presentation abilities... no matter HOW introverted they may be to begin with. Available as a one day workshop, series of shorter presentations scheduled over consecutive days/weeks and as a two day interactive experience which includes additional practical sessions with delegates. Roland has performed stand-up comedy on stage alongside Barry Hilton, Mel Miller, Eddie Ecksteen and many others. You may be familiar with references to "the game of life"... and it's true! Life can be viewed as a "game". This doesn't mean that it's not serious - think of the World Cup or World Series Finals in various sports. Any skill one can develop requires practise and the skills needed to change our experience from routine, boring, unfulfilling or even stressful can be enhanced through an energetic commitment to approaching our lives in a more lighthearted manner. Using the metaphor of "playing the game" this presentation encourages the so-called Levity Effect: transforming the mental approach to our lives for great motivational effect! Much emphasis is placed on the importance of connecting with others, networking, teamwork etc. However one of the greatest hindrances to the positive alignment of people with one another are the internal processes which hold us back from being our best. When we hold internal beliefs or feelings that lead us to feel anxious, stressed, afraid of rejection by peers, fearful of failure and so on, we are unable to make those connections in a fruitful manner. This presentation deals with the crucial concept of getting DISCONNECTED from our fears, our concerns about the opinions of others, our past view of ourselves, our over-estimation of risk and other negative factors... in order to GET connected with life and people in the most productive ways! This presentation is more than just a speech designed to get people swept up with enthusiasm. It is a system of mind management which, with consistent application, has the power to permanently change the way people function in all aspects of life. This approach to personal thought construction teaches delegates how to access more of their inherent talents, abilities and creativity than ever before. It is a guide to aligning psychology with biology in order to maximize the effectiveness of thoughts conceived and actions taken, while at the same time breaking down the power of restrictive negative thought patterns. There aren't many who would disagree that attitude is a key factor in the success (or otherwise) of any venture. A bad attitude can distract from the experience of any interaction or project for both the person holding the bad attitude and anyone else involved! Conversely a good attitude can improve a difficult situation or even lead to finding solutions in situations where it is not easily apparent. But what IS a good attitude made of? This presentation reminds delegates that great attitudes rarely happen by accident. Understanding the elements which make up our attitudes can help us do the things which are needed to acvtively create the kinds of atttitudes which can revolutionise any individual or team! 1 full day of practical sessions addressing specific performance technologies to aid delegates in dealing with: Fear - overcoming internal limiting factors Circumstances - dealing with the multi-faceted balance of life and work Limits - stimulating creativity to open new paths around previous blocks Conflicts - dealing with difficult people and situations An interactive workshop taking personal empowerment from concept to application. 1 full day of Inspirational Motivational input providing practical tools and effective psychological performance technology – new ways of thinking and working to produce outstanding results.
